Generally, the front grill needs to be removed in most of vehicles. 2.Use suitable tools, such as flat-blade or screwdriver, to undo the screws, clips and retainer springs on the headlights. You can find these parts at the top and the bottom of the headlight. Disconnect the wiring. Detach the headlight and take it out.Place the new headlight assembly at the right position. 3.Seal the screws,clips and retainer you undid in step two.Make sure each of them are sealed at the right place and sealed tightly. 4.Reconnect the wiring to the new headlight assembly. 5.Fix up the front grill and keep them in the original place with the original parts on. 6.Turn on the headlight to test the new assembly.Make some adjustments if the new assembly is not entirely in its original position. Great product, easy to install, but one of the four got water inside and I cannot find how to contact the seller.Very pleased with our product we purchased for our AvalancheObviously I did not want to buy OEM ones for the price they are so I purchased these.They did not fit as well as the OEM ones I was removing but with just subtle manipulation they do fit.Adjustment of headlight beam seems a little off but was able to get them set to see well and not blind oncoming drivers with the low beams.Problem is the coating on the lens (no car washing as of yet to have caused it) seemed to start coming off each lens within a week of installing them.Not sure what can be done.So easy to install. Took about 20 min for both pair. The only thing I had to adjust was the height. It was a bit too low for me but just a half of turn and perfect. They are very clear and bright and I use normal Walmart light bulbs nothing special. They were the perfect fit.Exactly as described. Fast service--arrived earlybought this truck in 2003 Dec. Pushing 2 decades soon and my headlights finally decided to get foggy moisture inside like if the seal broke letting moisture or water in very yellow now finally brand new again... let me say I live in chicago getting extreme weather rain heat waves snow storms ect so for oem to last me this long I just hope this new ones last as long more as this truck will last me now... i will update if they start letting moisture in water or get yellow i saw a 1 year replacement manufacturer so they will get put to the test i drive it dayli 50 90miles commute. Highly recommend them so far so good i got led everything the lighting it lets out is amazing how dim the old ones were.I own a '02 Avalanche with cloudy lenses and more than 1 broken housing mounting tab. Between zip ties and baling wire I managed to hold both old upper assemblies in place for years.This was was one of the easiest installs I've ever done. It re-defines plug and play. I'll give you an idea how quick - I had already replaced the high and low beams with LEDs, but not the two turn signal lamps. Off to the Auto parts store. It took me longer to drive the 5 miles there and back than to do the entire job.Excellent construction.Excellent value.Wish I had done this much sooner!I love itGreat lights.
