Update: these are way worse than I imagined. Curb assist is turned off - they still re-adjust when I turn the vehicle on (not in reverse like curb assist). And the first time I went to fold the passenger side mirror it clunked so hard it cracked the glass. I’ve asked for a refund.Old 2-3 star review:The mirrors look great! I like that they have a metal frame - I didn't spend the entire installation worried I would break them. They came with ZERO instructions, so be warned, you'll just have to figure it out.I researched A LOT before I bought these - and I bought them because they were the only mirrors that would fit my '04 Avalanche 2500 that had both puddle lights and reverse clearance lights. I really liked my built-in turn signals and was excited about these mirrors having the forward facing turn signals as well. I wasn't thrilled about losing my curb assist, as I use that feature all the time - but most people said the convex mirror is a worthy replacement.I have not towed with them yet, but I expect they will be much better! I'll update this if I have anything worthy to say.I installed the driver side last night (and replaced the window regulator while the door was apart) - it took me about 90min total. The Passenger side this morning took me almost exactly an hour.My two big complaints are:1) the passenger side mirror doesn't angle in enough. I'd read some of the reviews that talked about vertical travel, but the up and down has plenty of range. For me, I want to be able to see the edge of my truck when I glance in my mirror - these are almost a full lane off. Which means I'm going to have a huge blind spot. You can see in the picture I posted, if I turn my head the view I get of my neighbor's yard across the street, versus if I lean my head over the center console to get the view I want! (In the picture I put a small red line on a landscape barrier so you can see how far off the two pics are). It's not the end of the world - and I'm not sure it's worth the time and energy uninstalling them and trying to find a better option. I will learn to lean when I want to change lanes, but it is a huge detriment to the product rating.2) Neither the puddle lights nor the clearance lights are plug and play. My old mirrors had puddle lights, so I know there is power coming from the switch for that feature, but they do not work. I read some reviews that the reverse clearance lights need to have a separate wire run to the reverse lights in order for them to function, but I was expecting some sort of wire or instructions or something. There is nothing but a 3 prong plug sticking about an inch out of the light. I will save this feature for another time when I have the energy to mess with it (which is a common theme I read in reviews - people didn't mess with it on initial installation and just never got to it).
